I trimmed the interfaced layer of the collar to about 1/8" and I always do some pre-pressing before I flip the collar to the right side.I pressed each seam allowance downwards and then further clipped into the corner. I then turned to the right side and gave it another good press with lots of steam! Next was to topstitch around the edges about 1/8" from the edge, pivoting at the corners.
