This is a trick I learned the same time as the Sewing Curves Trick, and I must say, it has saved me from some intense breakdowns. It seems almost impossible to make an inset piece with pointed edges fit into a larger concave piece, but with a handy little clip at the right place and time, you’ll be able to tackle this and many other sticky sewing situations! So, without further ado, the Sewing Corners How To! Get out all the patterns with v-necks, square yokes, and boxy darts- you’ve got everything you need to sew them now.
- Member will sew the dress in their choice of fabric with at least 1 design change to the sloper.- Member will photograph the dress project and upload to our projects page with Member Model Holiday Dress Challenge somewhere in the title and linking to the dress sloper pattern they used (either the Shift Dress Sloper or the Fitted Dress Sloper)- ALL the submissions will be gathered together and voted on by YOU to determine the winners.

It is so relaxing and it also clears my mind from daily and work troubles. Sewing also makes me feel self sufficient, like growing your own vegetables or traveling with the wind on a sailing boat.The thing that I hate the most is marking the pattern on the fabric with the loose stitches, it takes too long, even though I like to see the fabric laying on the table, with loose white thread loops that look like a misterious 3-D hand-writing.
