Here is what it it looked like.I started to stitch around the curved edges of the collar stand and when I got to the top of the curve the collar was starting to be sewn into the seam as well. I sewed up the first curve, along the top edge and then down the other curve leaving the bottom edge open. I flipped the entire collar with collar stand to the right side and gave it a good press.
