4 - Transfer pattern markings to fabricFold the facing pieces in half again and pin together (right side facing). Pin the paper pattern piece in place. Use dressmaker’s carbon paper and tracing wheel to transfer the pattern outlines (seam lines) and all other lines and markings, apart from the grain line, onto all pieces (see carbon paper for exact instructions). Once that was sewn in place, I had successfully sewn the cowl/hood to the top! I’ve found that sewing has stuck more so than my other hobbies, it has the perfect combination of order and creativity.
