This was a standard skirt facing, I sewed together the one side seam of the facing and then attached it to the skirt waist seam making sure to match up the side seam.It was now zipper time! My Brother regular sewing machine came with an invisible zipper foot that I am now TOTALLY obsessed with. When I sew invisible zippers I always press the zipper teeth first and then pin into the garment. For this skirt I sewed the top portion of the zipper tape to the facing so the zipper would stop right at the waist facing seam.
