Also for these pants I decided to make a size 38, I usually make size 40 pants but I knew I was going to sew these in stretch woven fabric so I wanted the ft to be snug. I always base my size when making bottoms of my hip measurement and the size chart. My hip is 39" and size 38 will be a snug fit, but with stretch fabric (meaning woven fabric with elastic fibres) it will be perfect.

What is the most frustrating thing about sewing for you? What is the most rewarding?Unlike most sewers I am more excited about the finished project than the process of making it. This isn’t to say I don’t like sewing but I’m just so eager for the end result that sometimes I want to cut corners or make things easier for myself. Maybe I’m just lazy.
