First thing to do was to assemble and alter the pattern! I used size 38 all around the pattern and I didn’t do any width size alterations. I would usually sew a size 40, but my fabric had a decent amount of stretch in it and I wanted a snug fit around the top of the dress. I measured down about 4 1/2" from the size 38 neckline and drew a shape back up to the neckline.
