As a novice I am always impressed by people’s skills when it comes to sewing. Smocking mystifies me, I think it adds so much to an outfit with (what I’ve heard) not too much effort. This smocked fan is absolutely breath taking. It was made in a class by the author’s (Liesl Gibson of Disdressed and Oliver+S) grandmother.
