Next time: My adventures with a sewing machineI last revealed which pattern I was going to “mash up” next, and with the help of all of you our, Everyday Trousers was chosen! In this next progress report I show how I altered just the paper pattern in preparation of sewing these up. I haven’t mashed up a pair of pants in a while, so I am excited for these.

Crafters use Timtex to provide a stable shape for purses and bags, fabric bowls, vases, boxes, hats, cap brims, placemats, altered books, and any project that needs flexible firmness to hold its shape. Timtex is machine washable and dryable, and easy to cut, mark and sew. It can be set in shape with a hot iron.
Most often I sew in the evenings or on the afternoons because of the school, but I would like to sew more on the mornings because I’m more of a morning person than an evening one. Luckily on holidays I have the whole day time to do whatever I want. I’d like to listen to music while sewing, but my old sewing machine make such a horrible noise that I can’t basically hear a thing but it doesn’t bother me because I quess I’m so used to it:)..
