All of which got me thinking. I’ve got my own wish list for this Christmas, and it boils down to this: I’d like to fix up the stuff I already own. The A.P.C. snorkel parka I’ve worn day-in, day-out for three winters; there’s a button missing, it needs some patching and a good dry clean, but I love it, and I want it back for another season. Totally fixable. My iPod: The battery died over Thanksgiving, and I teased myself in the Apple store, debating whether to get one of the new video Nanos,
oh now this is hard!…. maybe Lady Gaga? (she’s a singer, she fabulous google her)but she has really sweet stuff anyway so i’m not sure if I could compare….. I took a member’s suggestion to make my dress have a round neckline, and I also wanted to add an extra seamline in the back to panel the floral in the bottom of the dress.I tiled the pattern together and only had to do a couple of alterations. I didn’t have to make any fit changes to the pattern since it was a petite sized pattern :) To alter the neckline I had to change the front band piece as well as the front and back dress. I used the zipper stop as a reference, and measured up 1" on both the band and front from the zipper notch. Then I measured the other side of the front band (that attaches to the back)
