Once the shoulder seams were serged together I could sew in the sleeve. I serged starting from one underarm point and ending at the other, making sure to match the sleeve notch with the shoulder seam. I then serged the side seams together starting from the sleeve hem and ending at the bodice hem matching up the underarm points.
