So I am just wondering if we almost created a club of members who love the process of selecting fabric, modifying the pattern, and really making a paper pattern come to life and be an expression of the wearer’s personality. You know when your not done and your just sewing… any project that takes a lot of work ahead of time… I get sick of …. pants ugh! I really wanna make em… but pockets and stuff…. lotta work
After the neckline was stitched into place I flipped the lining so the bottom edges meet and then I basted around all the edges so that the center front piece would act as one layer of fabric. Just makes it easier to sew! I then placed the two front side pieces with their corresponding lining piece and basted along those edges, just about 1/4" from the edge.
